By “Bible church” we mean that we believe God has revealed Himself and His plan of redemption in the Bible, through the writings of the Prophets and Apostles of both Old and New Testaments. We believe that until the Lord Jesus returns to the earth, the Bible is the only infallible and authoritative revelation from God to mankind. The Bible contains all things necessary for our salvation. The Bible is God’s Word. It does not merely contain God’s word; and, it is not, as some suppose, a record of a few men’s thoughts about God.
We look to the Bible for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, to the end that all Christians may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. The Bible is read in all our worship services, the Bible is even sung during our worship services. And, of course, the Bible is preached during our worship. Moreover, the Bible and theology derived from the Bible is taught in our parish education programs.
